REMBE® rad-net starts motivated at Youngster Coast Challenge

Tomorrow is the next international race for the REMBE® rad-net team riders.

Team REMBE® rad-net starts the Youngster Coast Challenge in Belgium tomorrow.
The riders will compete in the prestigious Youngster Coast Challenge (UCI 1.2U), which is organised as a pure U23 race as part of the Belgian Bredene-Koksijde Classic.
The race runs for almost 171 kilometres from Bredene to Koksijde - and also along the coast. If the three mountains before the halfway point of the race - including the legendary Kemmelberg - do not decide the outcome, the wind could play an important role.

"We definitely want to have our say in this high-level race," says Wolfgang Oschwald, sports director of the REMBE® rad-net team. "It will be crucial if there is a strong crosswind again tomorrow, otherwise the race could be over after just 20 kilometres. Our riders are aware of this and want to race together as a team on the windward and uphill. Our goal in the finale is to get our sprinter Jonathan Rottmann into position," he says.

Rottmann has been in excellent form recently in Croatia, placing twice in the top five and once in the top ten in UCI races. In the Youngster Coast Challenge he will be joined by Pepe Albrecht, Leon Arenz, Moritz Binder, Vincent John, Bruno Keßler and Maxim Roor.
