REMBE® rad-net starts in the Tour of Bulgaria
Starting tomorrow, Saturday, the REMBE® rad-net team will be back on the international circuit.
The Sauerland-based team will start the 72nd edition of the Tour of Bulgaria (UCI 2.2) with a six-strong squad.
The REMBE® rad-net colours will be represented by Leon Arenz, Moritz Binder, Julian Borresch, Felix Groß, Paul-Felix Petry and Jermaine Zemke. Zemke will benefit from the two mountain stages on the fourth and sixth days, while riders such as Borresch and Arenz want to take advantage of the hilly profile of the other stages. Groß, who is returning to international racing after a long break, has set himself some ambitious goals for the prologue.
The tour lasts a total of six days and begins with a 3.5-kilometre prologue in Primorsko. The following five stages cover hilly to mountainous terrain and are between 115 and 195 kilometres long. The finish line will be reached on Thursday in Sliven. A decision in the overall classification is not expected until the final stage.
