REMBE® rad-net starts at U23-DM and Sibiu Tour
Two more highlights are on the programme for the REMBE® rad-net riders in the coming days.
One part of the team will start at the U23-DM as part of the four-country championships in Hollenstein an der Ybbs (Austria), another part will race at the Sibiu Tour (UCI 2.1) in Romania.
At the U23 German Championships, Team REMBE® rad-net will be led by Bruno Keßler and Jermaine Zemke, who recently finished a good 20th at the elite road championships and was the third-best U23 rider. "A medal would be a great success, but our goal is a top 6 finish," says Lucas Liß, Sporting Director of Team REMBE® rad-net.
An exciting circuit awaits in Lower Austria with a mountain finish at Königsberg in Hollenstein. The loop is peppered with a tough climb and the finale is also a tough one with a 2.5 kilometre climb up to the bike park. From the starting point in Hollenstein an der Ybbs, the race leads via Opponitz to the ascent of the Große Kripp. After the descent to St. Georgen am Reith, it's back to Hollenstein, where the men then turn into the final climb after five laps. In the end, 156 kilometres are covered.
The well-staffed Sibiu Tour, in which teams such as Israel-Premier Tech and Q36.5 will also be competing, will take place over four stages, all of which will be held around Sibiu. The first three stages are hilly to mountainous. The final stage is a 3.3 kilometre time trial in Sibiu.
