REMBE® rad-net competes for titles and medals at Track-DM - Boos makes comeback

Another season highlight awaits the track specialists of the REMBE® rad-net team this week.

The German Track Championships will be held at the Dudenhofen race track (Rhineland-Palatinate) and Team REMBE® rad-net will be competing with seven riders.
A total of six DM decisions are on the programme on the 250-metre-long concrete oval in the endurance area. ‘We want to compete for medals in all disciplines, if not for the titles,’ says Lucas Schädlich, Sporting Director of Team REMBE® rad-net. REMBE® rad-net will be the defending champions in the single pursuit (Felix Groß), the elimination race (Benjamin Boos) and the team pursuit. But the REMBE® rad-net riders are also among the favourites in the scratch, points race and two-man team race.

For Boos, the German Track Championships are also his comeback to racing. The 21-year-old was involved in the serious training accident involving the German national team at the end of January and suffered a vertebral fracture. ‘I'm super happy to be able to get back into racing,’ said Boos.

Today, Wednesday, the decision will be made in the single pursuit and the elimination race. Tomorrow, the team pursuit and the two-man team race are on the programme. The medals in the scratch and points race will be contested on Friday. Extremely high temperatures are expected on all three competition days, which will be an additional challenge for the riders.
