REMBE® rad-net line-up nominated for Tour of Germany
Team REMBE® rad-net will be competing in the Lidl Deutschland Tour (UCI 2.Pro) next week.
The line-up of the Sauerland team for Germany's biggest tour, which also passes through the Sauerland this year, has now been finalised.
REMBE® rad-net is entering the five-day Tour of Germany with a strong team. The team, which is led by three-time world champion, multiple Olympic participant and former WorldTour pro Roger Kluge, is equipped for all terrains and racing situations. Johannes Adamietz is a strong climber in the squad, Jonathan Rottmann is the man for sprint finishes. And Miguel Heidemann, Jon Knolle and Ole Theiler can cope well with medium-difficulty stages with an undulating profile.
"The choice of riders was not an easy one," said the team management around Jörg Scherf, Heiko Volkert and Ulrich Müller. "But we are convinced that we have now put together a powerful team with which we can and want to draw attention to ourselves on the stages."
The Deutschland Tour begins next Wednesday, 20 August, with a short opening time trial in Essen. The race then continues over four more stages via Herford, Arnsberg, Kassel and Halle to Magdeburg.
