REMBE® rad-net kicks off the 2026 season at the Mallorca Challenge
The 2026 road season begins tomorrow, Wednesday, for the REMBE® rad-net team. The Sauerland-based Continental team will compete in the five-day Mallorca Challenge, which features an extremely strong field.
The REMBE® rad-net riders will face eight WorldTour and ten ProTeams with their top stars such as Remco Evenepoel, Florian Lipowitz, and Richard Carapaz in the five UCI category 1.1 one-day races—and they know it won't be an easy task. “But we want to seize the opportunity and get the season off to a good start,” says Ralf Grabsch, sporting director of the REMBE® rad-net team.
Three of the five races take place in mountainous terrain and feature well-known climbs such as Soller, Puig Major, and Sa Batalla. " With Johannes Adamietz, we have an experienced rider who is already in good shape and who is well suited to this terrain," explains Grabsch. The final race around Palma could be a chance for the sprinters to shine.
“Our highlight will be the team time trial on the second day,” Grabsch continues. “We have trained for it, everyone is healthy and motivated, and we are hoping for a good result.” The race against the clock covers 23.8 kilometers from Ses Salines via Campos to Colònia de Sant Jordi. REMBE® rad-net will be competing there with its time trial specialists Miguel Heidemann, Julian Borresch, Ole Theiler, and Leon Arenz.
