REMBE® rad-net competes in the Sauerland Mountain Prize for the Bundesliga overall victory and the German Mountain Championship

With overall leader Ole Theiler, Team REMBE® rad-net will compete in the final race of the "Müller – Die lila Logistik Rad-Bundesliga" cycling league this coming Saturday, which will take place as part of the Sauerländer Bergpreis in Wenholthausen.

Außerdem wird dort die Deutsche Bergmeisterschaft ausgetragen.
REMBE® rad-net is well placed to take overall victory in this year's Cycling Bundesliga – both in the individual and team rankings. Theiler leads with 821 points ahead of his two teammates Miguel Heidemann (726) and Johannes Adamietz (690), with Julian Borresch (610) in fifth place. In the team classification, REMBE® rad-net has a 28-point lead over Lotto-Kern-Haus-PSD Bank with 175 points. In addition, Adamietz wears the sprint jersey and Heidemann the mountain jersey. In the young rider classification, Pepe Albrecht is currently in second place and still has a chance of winning the classification.

"It won't be a walk in the park, but we're going into the race with a strong team and will of course do everything we can to win the Bundesliga in the team and individual classifications at our home race and, of course, to win the classification jerseys," says Lucas Liß, sporting director of the REMBE® rad-net team.

However, the Sauerland Mountain Prize is not only about valuable Bundesliga points for the overall rankings, but also about the German Mountain Championship in the elite and U23 classes, which Adamietz already won in 2022. The men will start the 122-kilometre race at 2 p.m. on the 12.2-kilometre circuit with 350 metres of elevation gain each. This adds up to a total of 3,500 metres of elevation gain.
