Reinhardt/Kluge win Berlin Sixdays weekend - Farewell to cycling retirement
To round off his career, Theo Reinhardt from Team REMBE® rad-net once again stood at the top of the podium: Together with his REMBE® rad-net team-mate Roger Kluge, the 34-year-old won the Berlin Sixdays Weekend last weekend.

After the first evening, Kluge/Reinhardt were still in second place overall. After losing some ground at the start of the second evening of competition, the duo were unstoppable from the moment they won the derny race. Kluge/Reinhardt were also ahead in the elimination race and went into the final chase on equal terms with their main rivals Elia Viviani/Michele Scartezzini and Yoeri Havik/Philip Heijnen.
The third REMBE® rad-net rider in the race, Felix Groß, finished tenth with Dutch rider Roy Eefting.
Theo Reinhardt has been part of the REMBE® rad-net team since 2013 - longer than any other rider. During this time, he has become world champion twice and European champion three times in the two-man team event, as well as winning numerous other international medals and national titles. In future, he would like to pass on his experience as a coach. "I want to help other athletes to experience exactly that!"
"Theo was with us for twelve years, which is an exceptionally long time. That also shows that we knew what we had in common. He was a constant and once rightly described himself as the team's mascot. We celebrated many great successes together and we thank him for his professional collaboration. We wish Theo all the best for the rest of his life and his second career," says Managing Director Ulrich Müller.
