Adamietz impresses on final stage of Tour de Luxembourg

With overall leader Ole Theiler, Team REMBE® rad-net will compete in the final race of the “Müller – Die lila Logistik Rad-Bundesliga” cycling league this Saturday, which will take place as part of the Sauerländer Bergpreis in Wenholthausen.

Jermaine Zemke, Ole Theiler, Julian Borresch, Pepe Albrecht, Leon Arenz, and Johannes Adamietz at the Tour de Luxembourg.
The 176-kilometer stage from Mersch to Luxembourg was characterized by a high average speed. Around 25 kilometers before the finish, Romain Gregoire (Groupama-FDJ) and Ben Healy (EF Education-EasyPost) attacked from the peloton, caught up with the last breakaway riders, and battled it out for the victory.
Behind the duo, an eight-man chasing group formed around REMBE® rad-net rider Adamietz, which also included riders such as Brandon McNulty (UAE Team Emirates-XRG), Richard Carapaz (EF Education-EasyPost), and Marc Hirschi (Tudor), and crossed the finish line 55 seconds behind the two attackers.

“I'm super happy that I was able to ride with the top riders and I'm very satisfied with the result. In the end, I may have lacked a little confidence to launch another attack,” said Adamietz after the race.
