REMBE® rad-net women focuses on young talents

In addition to Olympic champion Franziska Brauße, who was announced last week, the new REMBE® rad-net women team is also focusing on young talent. Hannah Kunz, Katharina Palm, Selma Lantzsch, Karoline Goldschmidt, and Iana Baltes will also be riding for REMBE® rad-net women starting next season.

“All five women are hugely talented and already highly motivated for the 2026 season. We look forward to working with them and accompanying them on their journey to the top of the world,” said team manager Jörg Scherf.

Hannah Kunz comes from the development team of the UAE-ADQ women's professional team and has a lot of potential. She won the German U19 road and time trial championships and was also European vice-champion in the time trial. In 2024, in her first year in the women's class, she was crowned German U23 road champion; In 2024 and 2025, she won bronze in the U23 German time trial championships. However, Kunz was not entirely satisfied with her performances and therefore wants to improve with Team REMBE® rad-net women: "My goal is to support my team as best I can while also playing an active, high-performance role in racing again. After a challenging phase, I want to consistently compete for top placings again and re-establish myself among the leaders in the long term. It's important to me to continuously develop and take on responsibility within the team," said the 20-year-old.

Selma Lantzsch was also at the forefront of the U23 Championships. She won the title in 2023 and took silver in 2025 – just as she did at the 2024 German Mountain Championships. The 22-year-old achieved several other good results on the road, earning her nominations for the World and European Championships. At the World Championships, she finished in a respectable 18th place in the women's U23 race. “In 2026, I would like to build on my progress from this year and am delighted that REMBE® rad-net is giving me this opportunity.”

Katharina Palm brings the most experience of the five new signings. In 2022 and 2023, she celebrated overall victory in the “Müller – Die lila Logistik Rad-Bundesliga” and in 2023 missed out on the German championship title in the individual time trial by just 0.9 seconds – beaten only by Mieke Kröger. Last year, Palm won the German championship in the individual pursuit. But the 29-year-old still sees a lot of potential for development: "I'm looking forward to developing further among a group of experienced cyclists. Both on the road and especially on the track, where I still have a lot to learn, I want to gain valuable experience and take the next step in my athletic development.“ Accordingly, Palm wants to celebrate successes on the international stage with her new teammates in 2026. ”The German Championships are particularly close to my heart – doing well there is a great incentive for me every year," says Palm.

Karoline Goldschmidt is particularly strong in the mountains, as demonstrated by her third place in the 2024 German Mountain Championships, her victory in the mountain jersey at the 2025 Czech Tour de Feminin (UCI 2.2), and her tenth place in this year's highly selective German Road Championships. But the 25-year-old has also achieved some good results in time trials. “I am very happy that REMBE® rad-net is another women's Continental team in Germany and that I can be part of this project,” says Goldschmidt, who wants to develop “both physically and tactically” in her new team in order to contribute to the team's sporting success. “I hope that we will quickly come together as a team and grow together. My personal highlights are the German Road Championships and the Individual Time Trial Championships, where I hope to achieve a good individual result.”

Iana Baltes will be the youngest rider on the team. She is the Romanian U19 champion on the road and in time trials and will compete in her first season in the women's class in 2026. The 18-year-old came to Germany to prepare for the European Road Championships, for which she was nominated by her federation, at the Cycling Bundesliga in Bad Dürrheim. Baltes wants to take the next step at REMBE® rad-net. “The coming year will be very special for me. I am very excited about the opportunity to be part of this new German team and to be able to develop further in a professional environment. The structures and team spirit give me a lot of confidence and motivation for the coming season. I am convinced that I can learn a lot here and will do everything I can to repay that trust with good performances.”
