Four REMBE® rad-net riders in action at the U23 European Track Championships - Several podium places at the Oder Tour
The European U23 Track Championships will take place tomorrow in Anadia, Portugal.
Four riders from Team REMBE® rad-net have been nominated by the German Cycling Federation (GC) for the title fights.
The REMBE® rad-net riders Leon Arenz, Benjamin Boos and Bruno Keßler already won bronze with the German foursome at last year's U23 European Championships. The trio will also be competing in the four-man qualification at this year's European Championships together with Max-David Briese (PSV Rostock) and will be aiming for precious metal. Moritz Binder from Team REMBE® rad-net will compete in the single pursuit on the first day of the competition and is expected to complete the German foursome from the next round of the team pursuit.
Further starts in the mass start disciplines are also planned for the REMBE® rad-net riders on the following days, but the focus will be on the team pursuit.
Last week, Team REMBE® rad-net took part in the 44th edition of the International Tour of the Oder. In the prologue over 2.7 kilometres through Frankfurt an der Oder, REMBE® rad-net rider Felix Groß took second place. His team-mate Jonathan Rottmann also sprinted to second place on the first stage. In the overall standings, Miguel Heidemann finished fourth, just a few hundredths of a second behind the podium, making him the best rider for the REMBE® rad-net team. The stage race was won by Dutchman Jarne van den Ven (Dutch Food Valley CT).
