Three REMBE® rad-net riders at the European Track Championships

The European Track Championships begin tomorrow in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium. Three riders from the REMBE® rad-net team are represented in the German Cycling squad, which is starting the title fights with confidence.

After winning the world title in the two-man team race, REMBE® rad-net riders Roger Kluge and Tim Torn Teutenberg (Lidl-Trek) also want to attack at the European Championships and fight for the title.
Kluge won the European Championship title last year with Theo Reinhardt, who recently ended his career, and will therefore go into the race as the defending champion. "Tim is in good form from the races in Australia and I'm also in a good mood," says Kluge, looking optimistically towards the European Championships. He also reckons he has a chance in the points race.

The two REMBE® rad-net riders Leon Arenz and Bruno Keßler will also be competing at the European Championships. Following the serious training accident in Mallorca, the Germans will not be taking part in the team pursuit, as most of the injured riders have not yet fully recovered - with the exception of Keßler, who will be competing in the single pursuit. Arenz is competing in his first European Championships in the elite class.

The competitions begin tomorrow, Wednesday. Until Sunday, medals will be awarded in the disciplines of elimination, points race, scratch, single pursuit, omnium and two-man team race.
