Ole Theiler wins another race on Mallorca

Team REMBE® rad-net also won the third training race of the Mallorcan racing series ‘Un Hivern a Mallorca’ with start and finish in Cala Millor.

Ole Theiler (centre) won in Cala Millor ahead of Miguel Heidemann (left) and Anton Albrecht.
After 119 kilometres, Ole Theiler came out on top ahead of his team-mate Miguel Heidemann and thus confidently defended his overall lead.
Early on in the race, a group had formed around the two REMBE® rad-net riders Jonathan Rottmann and Lennart Voege. This group was later joined by Theiler, Heidemann and Johannes Adamietz with a few other riders. Eventually a group of four was formed with the three REMBE® rad-net riders Theiler, Heidemann and Adamietz, who took it in turns to attack in the finale.

Theiler and Heidemann pulled away together and decided the victory between themselves, with Theiler being the faster of the two. Adamietz was 49 seconds behind Anton Albrecht (Benotti-Berthold) in fourth place. With Rottmann, Jon Knolle and Voege in fifth, sixth and eighth place, three more riders from the REMBE® rad-net team finished in the top ten. Accordingly, the team was also ahead in the team classification.

In the overall standings, four REMBE® rad-net riders are now in first place, led by Theiler ahead of Heidemann (+0:54), Adamietz (+2:31) and Knolle (+2:37).

Next weekend, the last two races of ‘Un Hivern a Mallorca’ are on the calendar of the REMBE® rad-net team, who will once again use the days in between for intensive season preparation.
