Strong team performance at Tour du Loir et Cher - Rottmann third on stage

The REMBE® rad-net riders achieved a number of good results at the Tour du Loir et Cher (UCI 2.2) in France - especially Jonathan Rottmann, who sprinted to third place on the podium on the penultimate stage.

Jonathan Rottmann sprinted to the podium at the Tour du Loir et Cher.
The riders from the REMBE® rad-net team were already involved in the action on the first stage. Rottmann had made it into the breakaway group of the day, but was caught again within the final kilometre.
On the following days, however, the REMBE® rad-net riders were able to turn their performances into results. On the second stage, it was Jon Knolle who reached the finish with a breakaway group and finished fourth. The following day, the decision was made in the sprint, in which Rottmann also took fourth place.

On the fourth stage, Miguel Heidemann from Team REMBE® rad-net broke away with three other riders right at the start, but 15 kilometres before the finish he and his fellow riders were caught by the peloton again. However, Heidemann was honoured as the most combative rider. The decision was then made in a bunch sprint, in which Rottmann took third place. "The last two kilometres were very twisty, there were a few crashes. I had to ride a very long sprint out of the last bend. Unfortunately, I was caught just before the line. But I'm very happy with the podium and especially the team performance," explained Rottmann after the stage.

The final stage was cancelled due to rain and a dangerous circuit in the city.
