REMBE® rad-net aims to build on recent successes at Tour du Loir et Cher
Team REMBE® rad-net will be in action at the Tour du Loir et Cher (UCI 2.2) in France from tomorrow, Wednesday.
There, too, the racing drivers want to impress with good performances.
"It's a demanding tour with narrow roads, small hills and wind, which can be decisive," says Ralf Grabsch, Sporting Director of the REMBE® rad-net team. But it is precisely this and the profile of the individual stages that favours the REMBE® rad-net riders.
Miguel Heidemann, for example, has fond memories of last year's five-day stage race, as he finished tenth overall. However, the team does not want to commit to one captain and, in addition to classics specialists such as Heidemann, Ole Theiler and Julian Borresch, also has a sprinter in Jonathan Rottmann. "Everyone is in a great mood and we'll decide depending on the situation," explains Grabsch.
The race starts tomorrow with an almost 155-kilometre section from Blois to Valencisse. In the following days, further sections of up to 196 kilometres are on the agenda before the tour ends in Blois on Sunday.
