The 25 men and women are staying at the Hotel Grupotel Maritimo in Alcudia with ten staff members and the sports directors, organised by Hürzeler Reisen.
While the women will focus on training under optimal conditions, the men will also be competing in races as part of their training camp: as was the case last year, they will be taking part in the national races of the Mallorcan racing series ‘Un Hivern a Mallorca’ this coming Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's race covers 127 kilometres around Arta, while Sunday's race covers 120 kilometres to and from Cala Millor. Last year, REMBE® rad-net rider Ole Theiler won in Cala Millor.
On Tuesday, five riders will then continue on to Rwanda. From 22 February to 1 March, the REMBE® rad-net team will compete in the eight-day Tour du Rwanda (UCI 2.1).
