Brauße Wins the Mountain Prize at Nokere Koerse

The REMBE® rad-net women team once again put in a strong performance.

The REMBE® rad-net women 2026 Team.
At the Belgian classic Nokere Koerse (UCI 1.Pro), a 133-kilometer race between Deinze and Nokere featuring several cobblestone sections, Franziska Brauße was part of the day’s breakaway group and won the mountain prize.
Immediately after the fast start, there were several attacks from the peloton. Eventually, after about ten kilometers, five riders managed to break away around Brauße, building a lead of nearly four minutes. Along the way, Brauße diligently collected points on the climbs, earning her the mountain prize. About 40 kilometers before the finish, the breakaway group was caught.

After that, everything came down to a sprint finish. Lisa Klein was still in the first group, from which top favorite Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx-Protime) claimed the victory, but another rider collided with her, causing her frame to break. As a result, Klein could only manage 39th place. “It’s a shame, because otherwise a better finish would certainly have been possible,” commented André Korff, sports director of the REMBE® rad-net women team.
