REMBE® rad-net rider Jermaine Zemke took a good tenth place at the German Road Championships in the U23 class.

In the coming days, the team from Sauerland will be in action at the Oder Tour.
Team REMBE® rad-net played a decisive role in the title race, which was held in Hollenstein an der Ybbs, Austria, as part of the four-country championship with Germany, Austria, Luxembourg and Switzerland. A group of around ten riders - including REMBE® rad-net rider Benjamin Boos and the eventual winner Mauro Brenner (Lotto-Kern Haus-PSD Bank) - broke away from the field early on on the selective circuit. The riders worked well together and reached the final climb, which was almost 2.5 kilometres long and up to 16 per cent steep, just ahead of the peloton.

While Brenner maintained his position and rode to victory, Zemke sprinted past the other breakaway riders to secure tenth place.

The 44th edition of the Oder Tour starts tomorrow, Wednesday. Team REMBE® rad-net, led by Madison world champion Roger Kluge, will also be taking part in the national tour. A total of five stages are on the programme. It starts with a prologue on Wednesday evening in Frankfurt an der Oder, followed by four further stages in Frankfurt/Oder, Podelzig, Eisenhüttenstadt and Seelow with a length of 105 to 155 kilometres.
