The REMBE® rad-net women team has signed two more riders for the 2026 season.

In future, Aileen Schweikart and Miriam Gerwig will also ride for the Sauerland-based Continental team. They will make their debut tomorrow, Wednesday, at the GP Oetingen (UCI 1.Pro), which will also be the first race ever for the new REMBE® rad-net women team.
Schweikart has already ridden for Spanish and Italian teams in recent years. Her top results include 18th place overall in the 2022 Giro d'Italia Donne and winning the mountain jersey in the 2024 Vuelta Extremadura. “I'm looking forward to being part of a new team and racing alongside experienced and successful teammates like Franziska Brauße and Lisa Klein,” said the 29-year-old, who wants to contribute her own experience but also learn new things. “I'm looking forward to competing in Bundesliga races with a cool team – I don't have much experience in this area yet, as I skipped this first step in my cycling career, but I believe that our participation in Bundesliga races can send an important signal and provide motivation, especially for younger riders.” Schweikart cites the German Road and Time Trial Championships as her goals for the 2026 season.

Gerwig has mainly competed in national races so far, but has already made a name for herself there. She wants to take the next step at REMBE® rad-net. “I am delighted to have made the step up to the professional level. I would like to develop further as an athlete and learn from the experience of others,” says the 29-year-old, who, in addition to achieving further good results in national races, has also set herself the goal of establishing herself in her new team and competing regularly in stage races.

Tomorrow, the two newcomers, along with Franziska Brauße, Karoline Goldschmidt, Selma Lantzsch, and Katharina Palm, will compete in their first race in the REMBE® rad-net women jersey at the Belgian one-day race GP Oetingen (UCI 1.Pro). “We are naturally motivated to ride a decent race. However, we don't have any specific goals in terms of results. We want to grow together as a team, play an active role in the race, and make our mark. Then we'll see what happens,” says André Korff, sporting director of the REMBE® rad-net women team.

The 140-kilometer race from Sint-Pieters-Leeuw to Oetingen is strongly contested, with twelve WorldTour teams alone. The top favorite is superstar Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx-Protime).
