Attacking spirit goes unrewarded at the Baloise Ladies Tour

Although they started with just five riders instead of the possible six, REMBE^® rad-net women showed an attacking spirit during the five-day stage race comprising six stages. Aileen Schweikart and Hannah Kunz were part of breakaway groups, but these were always caught just before the finish, meaning that the races – with the exception of the two time trials – were decided in bunch sprints. “Although we weren’t able to compete with a full-strength team, we rode a really strong and confident race and put in a good performance. We were represented in every leading group and, with a bit more luck, a top placing might have been possible,” said André Korff, sporting director at REMBE^® rad-net women.

In the general classification, Brauße was also the best rider from the REMBE^® rad-net women team, finishing 29th.
