U23 champion Mauro Brenner joins REMBE® rad-net

The REMBE® rad-net team has secured the services of one of Germany's best U23 riders for the coming season.

Mauro Brenner is the reigning German U23 champion.
The reigning German U23 champion Mauro Brenner will ride for the Sauerland-based Continental team from 2026.
2025 has been the most successful season so far for the 21-year-old, which he crowned by winning the German U23 Championship. But Brenner still has potential and wants to continue improving at REMBE® rad-net. "REMBE® rad-net offers a professional environment with strong team structures. I see this as a great opportunity to develop further as an athlete. I am particularly attracted by the combination of promoting young talent and a high-level racing programme," says Brenner.

Now in his fourth year in the U23 class, the Augsburg native already has a wealth of experience to draw on. "I know how to read races and hold my position well," says Brenner. And he wants to bring this to bear as a leader in U23 races or as a helper or co-leader in demanding races.

Brenner wants to fulfil his dream of becoming a professional in the future: "I am convinced that the professionalism of the team can help me either to move up to the professional level together with the team or to develop individually and make the step towards the WorldTour." To this end, he wants to impress with consistently strong performances in UCI races in the coming season and "fight for podium places and victories in both national and international U23 races," says Brenner. Defending his title at the U23 German Championships is also at the top of his list.

"Mauro is a great addition to our REMBE® rad-net team," say team managers Jörg Scherf, Heiko Volkert and Ulrich Müller with conviction. "However, we also believe that he has not yet reached his full potential and look forward to working with him to achieve this."
