Kluge/Reinhardt second at Bremen Sixdays

Roger Kluge and Theo Reinhardt from Team REMBE® rad-net took second place at the 58th Sixdays in Bremen.

Theo Reinhardt and Roger Kluge (in the background) took second place in Bremen.
After an exciting final, they were only narrowly beaten by Nils Politt/Yoeri Havik. Benjamin Boos/Bruno Keßler came eighth.
Kluge/Reinhardt had started the final day of the competition as overall leaders and also went into the one-hour final chase with a one-lap lead. They were able to withstand their rivals' attempts to attack for a long time, but then Politt/Havik got ahead of them twice, suddenly leaving them a lap behind. But the REMBE® rad-net duo refused to give up, attacked again on the final laps and were well on the way to making up the lost laps. But in the end it just wasn't enough. Although Kluge/Reinhardt won the final classification and scored a bonus round by reaching the 200-point mark, putting them back on level terms with Politt/Havik, they were beaten on points.

Politt/Havik won with 205 points, while Kluge/Reinhardt scored 200 points. Simone Consonni/Elia Viviani finished third, one lap behind on 199 points.

For Theo Reinhardt, it was his last six-day event in Bremen after the 34-year-old recently announced the end of his career. ‘Of course I would have liked to say goodbye to the Bremen audience with a victory, but I still had a great four days. I have so many fond memories of Bremen, and this second place doesn't diminish them,’ said Reinhardt, who won the Bremen Six Days in 2018 alongside Belgian rider Kenny De Ketele and in 2024 with Roger Kluge. Reinhardt will contest his last race from 31 January to 1 February at the Sixdays Weekend
