The "Tour de France for U23 riders" starts on August 18th with a prologue in Sarrebourg, France, and ends after six stages at the legendary Colle delle Finestre in Italy.
Traditionally, the best U23 national teams in the world compete shortly after the Tour de France and shortly before the World Championships. As part of the German national team, the youngster from the REMBE Pro Cycling™ Team Sauerland is following in the footsteps of famous cyclists. In recent years, the "small Tour de France" served as a springboard for Egan Bernal and Tadej Pogacar. If he does well, Borresch can have legitimate hopes of further appearances in the national jersey.
