rad-net Oßwald and REMBE Pro Cycling™ Team Sauerland are joining forces
The rad-net Oßwald and REMBE Pro Cycling™ Team Sauerland teams will go together in the future.
The two German Continental teams from North Rhine-Westphalia will merge for the 2025 season and pursue their goals together and strengthened in the future.
"Our two teams have always been committed to promoting young talent and have already produced some great talents, some of whom have made the jump to the WorldTour or won world and European championships. I am convinced that we will continue this successful path together and strengthened as a result can stand up to the Devo teams of the big teams," says Ulrich Müller from the rad-net Oßwald team.
"Our merger is an important step towards success and further development. This means we can continue to offer young talents a professional environment in which they can take part in top-class competitions and develop. Together we want to take the next step in the future and take the team to the next level lift," says Jörg Scherf from the REMBE Pro Cycling™ Team Sauerland. “Our common goal is to compete at ProTeam level in the medium term and to have some of our athletes competing at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028,” adds Heiko Volkert from the REMBE Pro Cycling™ Team Sauerland.
The rad-net Oßwald team was founded together with the Association of German Cyclists e.V. in 2013 and promotes young German cyclists as well as track cycling, which has already brought its riders several participations in the Olympic Games as well as world championship, European championship and German championship titles. The REMBE Pro Cycling™ Team Sauerland has been represented in the peloton since 2016 and has since then strived to continuously develop its talents in close cooperation with the NRW regional association.
What exactly the new team name will be will only be determined and announced in the coming days.
